Diagram illustrating the DaRa systems analysis framework, featuring large and small triangles labeled "Disaggregate" and "Reaggregate" within a larger triangle, representing the process of breaking down and recombining system components for in-depth analysis. The text "DaRa: for Systems Analysis" appears below, emphasizing its application in consulting and organizational strategy.

DaRa: for Systems Analysis

The DaRa Framework is a very simple framework that covers the majority of how analysis can be conducted from a first principles perspective. This is heavily inspired by the work of Michael Porter and differs from top-down/bottom-up in the inclusion of interactions across component parts. It very simple means: break problems/systems apart, put them back together. Analyze at all levels.

Disaggregate

Break problems/systems down into components to analyze. This allows analysts to look at problems with more granularity and identify specific issues within systems. Components should be homogenous, independent, and account for the totality of possibilities.

Reaggregate

Look at the components as a whole. We want to understand any interactions between the components in the system and with other systems, such as the macroeconomy and industry. This can help identify any potential synergies or dis-synergies.
